Customer Review: Where did it go? It was the best meat therm ever!

I am shocked to find that this product is no longer available at Amazon or (apparently) elsewhere online. I bought it for less than $20 9 months ago on Amazon, and it was everything I could hope for in a meat thermometer! I loved it so much, I gave it to my brother at a cookout, figuring I could get a replacement at Amazon in a jiffy.
Well, I come back to my previous purchase, thinking I would just click "Buy" again, but the sub-20-buck thermometer is only available from other sellers for $80?!!! I'm going back to my brother and getting mine back! Fast reading -- so accurate, I used it for my room and outdoor temps too! Great for all kinds of meat -- thick or thin cuts. Definitely a bummer to miss this!
Also, I never had any problems with the display, or batteries, as mentioned by others. Absolutely a steal, and made me the master of many a meal!
