Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Polder 6115-75 18/8 Stainless Steel Compact Dish RackCustomer Review: Stainless steel compact dish rack Summary: 5 StarsPolder 6115-75 18/8 Stainless Steel Compact Dish Rack
I am extremely happy with this compact dish rack. It suits my needs very well, since I have one sink. I keep it in the sink so I can have more space on my counter, although with the bottom rack attached, it takes up less room on your counter than regular dish racks. Another plus is that it is stainless steel. I looked all around for a smaller rack, and was happy to find the Poder on Amazon.
Customer Review: Great product Summary: 4 StarsAs someone else mentioned in a review I read before I purchased this product, this dish rack thinks that it is much larger than it actually is. For anyone with limited counter space such as I have, it takes up very little space, yet I have put 3 pots, 2 dishes, a large colander, measuring cups, and a ton of silverware in it and still had room. As someone else noted, it does not handle glasses well (the only reason it did not rate 5 stars), but I have not found this to be a problem. The silverware rack was a bit discolored as another reviewer noted, however, it really is not a big deal. All in all, I would highly recommend this product, IF you do your dishes on a regular basis. If you are the type to let dirty dishes pile up in the sink, get a larger drainer.
Customer Review: Doesn't look as good as the picture Summary: 2 StarsMy product clear had not had the soldering painted over, and had a bunch of burn marks. Even so, it still doesn't look as nice and shiny as the picture does. I think it's a perfect size, but I wasn't impressed.
Customer Review: Not stainless Summary: 2 StarsI bought this item, after few months, you can see it rusting away.. compact? yes... stainless? no.
Customer Review: VERY compact dish rack Summary: 3 StarsMy only real complaint about this dishrack (which is mostly my fault for not checking out the measurements) is that it is SO small. it really is only good for plates and some silverware. there is no good place to put glasses or mugs, or even bowls... if it had been maybe only an inch or two wider, that would have helped. On the good side, it does look good and doesn't show any signs of rust or wear. i guess it would be good if you already have a dishwasher, and just want something portable for in-between washings.
