I wish that the rack was a little taller as the bottom rung is not usabale because it is too low to the ground, and items on that rung hit the ground/floor.
The item was shipped well, is sturdy and holds up well even with a couple of heavy towels on it.
Other than the rack not being taller, I am very pleased with this dryer rack I am glad that I purchased this item, I will most likely be purchasing another.

I bought this laundry rack after using it at a friends place abroad. It is wonderful to dry clothes in natural sunlight and save a few dollars along the way. The rack will pay for itself in the money saved in utility bills.
First of all, the product is very nicely made. It is light weight, sturdy, built strong and doesn't give off a flimsy feeling. There are plenty of rods to hang all your laundry from one load of, say kid's clothes, or kitchen towels. The rack is not as big as I thought it would be, but that's my perception. The one I had used at my friend's place was much bigger and I just thought this one would be too. Check the dimensions before you buy and get a perception by comparing it with something in your house of similar dimensions. There is a reason websites don't provide pictures along with a reference object. For example, if I had seen this rack pictured next to a, say washing machine, I would've had a better idea of how big it would be.
There is one small design flaw however that makes this otherwise awesome product 4 stars and not 5 star. This is a accordion-style rack which collapses to literally 3 inches. The top rack/shelf serves as the latch to hold it in upright expanded position; however, there is no locking mechanism to hold it in place. Now intuitively I have tried to lift the rack holding the top shelf to move it from one spot to another, but instead I manage to unhook it in the process and the whole thing just collapses! I wish there was a way to lock the top shelf in the "engaged" position so it would open only when you wanted to. Other than that this is a great product and if you enjoy sunny days pretty much all year around.
Lastly, one note for the Amazon shipping department - Be Earth Wise!! The whole thing is barely 4 inches high when collapsed. These are shrink wrapped and don't come in a box. It was shipped in a box which could hold at least 5 of these!! And to fill up the extra space, it was packed with paper. The box was large enough for my 7 year old to use as a castle for a few days!
Customer Review: Warehouse keeps shipping wrong Item(compact model)

I ordered this product as my wooden Dryer broke. This model is 26 inches wide but when it arrived it looked very small. Then I found out Warehouse shipped a compact model (8316-79) which is 21 inches wide instead of this one. Also compact model sells for $22, 10 dollars cheaper than 8310-05. I returned it and Amazon shipped replacement free. But guess what. Again wrong compact model was shipped. I gave up. I can't go again and again to Post office to return an item. Finally I kept the product at a discounted price just to save another return trip. But still I am paying and keeping the product that I didn't want or ordered. This rack is nice and stable. I like the design, but I ordered a new one and it came with rusty areas on it. I'm not disappointed enough to send it back, however, if you are buying this for appearances be forewarned.
