This Polder chrome dryer rack is the best one I have ever had. I have had two wooden ones in the past that ended up with the wet clothes creating peeling, cracked paint on them. Wooden ones made paint chips transfer onto my clothes, creating allergic reactions. This chrome one is excellent. No paint chips, no catching on clothes to snag silk either. I find it an excellent all around buy. It is much more sturdy than the wooden ones too. It also holds more clothes than the smaller wooden ones. You will be pleased with this purchase.Customer Review: Works great!

I wanted to get a strong chrome drying rack, and after reading a lot of positive reviews about this rack, I finally bought one...But, I am highly disappointed...Even though some of the people who bought this rack gave reviews about getting their rack with rusted rods, I thought Amazon would listen to these comments and do something about it...But, unfortunately, they haven't...I opened the box I received today...and I saw 3 rods with rust on them...I am so highly disappointed with Amazon...I have been buying from Amazon for a long time, but this is the first time, that I feel that Amazon has stopped caring about their customers...I can't even ship it back, because the shipping cost might be more than the price of the rack itself...Looks like, I will have to apply some patchwork or tape to prevent the rust from spoiling the clothes...If anyone from Amazon is reading this, please make sure that you don't send rusted racks anymore...Customer Review: More durable than most

This rack stands up to every day use for everything from lingerie to jeans and towels. It was worth the money. I wish there were an even larger one available.
