Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Polder Collapsible Indoor/Outdoor Y Laundry Drying Rack, Stainless SteelCustomer Review: Not very good quality Summary: 2 StarsThis drying rack is fantastic in terms of the amount of clothes that you are able to dry - but the poles that help the racks stay horizontal dislodge ALL the time. So therefore the horizontal racks are just wonky and I have to keep adjusting the poles to make sure it doesn't collapse. I don't know if we were unlucky and received a faulty drying rack, but it's too much of a hassle to post back and get a replacement. Other than that, I do like how the clothes aren't too cramped and stacked on top of each other compared to other clothes rack designs.
Customer Review: Compact, Lightweight, Durable, Loads of Space Summary: 5 StarsI received this recently as a gift and couldn't be happier (except for if it were made in the U.S.A. :)) I'm able to put an entire load of laundry on this thing, and when I'm finished with it, it folds up nice and flat for easy storage. I highly recommend this to anyone in need of a drying rack for indoor or outdoor use (I plan to use mine in the summer time outside when possible.)
Customer Review: Love this drying rack Summary: 5 StarsIt is great! You can raise the wings up and dry a whole quilt on it and anything, many things smaller of course. Highly recommend b/c when you are not using it is folds up and slides in between my washer and dryer.
Customer Review: stainless steel = great for small apt with patio Summary: 5 Stars1) size
I was expecting a small drying rack from all the previous reviews, but I find it to be quite large. It was larger than my previous standard white plastic drying rack. However, the bars are more spaced out. I don't mind because I usually use 2 bars to dry things on the standard racks, and I can do with one bar here because they have a much larger diameter, so the two hanging sides stay separated. However, you can definitely fit more small stuff (underwear/bras) on the standard racks.
2) stainless steel = no rust = great for storing outside
If you dry your clothes inside, it's probably not the right rack for you. This is great for storing outside. We don't have much space inside, so we like to leave the rack on the patio. Helps that our climate allows us to dry clothes outside year round. Unfortunately, even in nice climate, most drying racks will rust and leave permanent stains on your clothes. On my old plastic covered standard one, the plastic cracked and the iron underneath rusted. This stainless steel one has been stored at the same spot for ~6 months and is still looking brand new. Love it!
Customer Review: used for camping Summary: 4 StarsWe're very pleased with the laundry rack. We had a wooden rack to begin with, but being outdoors it only lasted a few weeks. The stainless steel rack has plenty of hanging space and has no problem being outside. The shoe holders only hold the lightest/smallest of shoes. I would purchase it again.
