I love this fork! It's easy to program, easy to use. It takes a few seconds to get a reading, especially for higher temps, but it's still a great fork.
Description of Polder Deluxe Smart Fork
Say you want your chicken breast exactly done at a certain temperature; you can preprogram that temperature into this Smart Fork and hear it beep when the temperature is reached. Or, select one of seven preprogrammed settings for wellness. Or, if your steak needs another few minutes to cook, use the fork's timer, which counts down from any setting up to 99 minutes. The timer and thermometer operate simultaneously so that more than one type of meat can be monitored at once.Measuring 16-3/4 inches overall, the Smart Fork tines detach at the press of a button for hygienic cleaning. If you're concerned about the safety issues of undercooked meat, an included USDA temperature chart will set your mind at ease. One AAA battery is required for operation, and is included. --Ann Bieri
