Customer Review: Just what I needed

Actually, needed something to fill in the gap for free shipping. I decided to get this because I realllly needed one. I am often cooking rice and lentils that need to be washed and or soaked. So far for washing rice and lentils this performs well for me. It can be cumbersome to clean but this is likely the case with most strainers. The feet elevation on this strainer is why I bought it compared to others. You can rest it in the sink as you rinse unlike the strainers with a circular band pedestal which holds the drained water in that area. Overall I'm satisfied. Reviewers take note of the size dimensions. It's the perfect size for me but it's not a huge strainer it's more on the medium/small end of size.
Edit: So I've used it many times since and the cleaning is still cumbersome. Mostly split lentils and basmati rice I wash have stuck on the inner lip/rim of the strainer as there is a small gap where it connects to the mesh. I manage to get it out but it's annoying. I don't know what other strainers are like bc I've never used any others before.
