This paper towel holder is exactly as described. You can tear individual sheets very easily. The base is weighted and has rubber feet so that it will not slide on your countertop. The hanger, should you want to mount it under the cabinet, is unique and easy to operate if you need to remove the holder to take it to the table, etc. It is very easy to put a new roll of towels on the holder, too. You won't be disappointed with this paper towel holder.
